All of The Lights

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Christmas was the best day of the year when I was a child, and it’s still the best day of the year now. Sure, I don’t run downstairs at 6am to open up my presents anymore (from my parents, this was usually the latest doll, not sure what kids these days are getting), but nothing beats getting the spend the day with your whole family, especially as everyone’s schedules makes this hard to do during the year. We are now quickly approaching 2016 – I have a few posts lined up, and will be posting every other day into the new year!

For me, it’s the year of 21st birthdays. I went to a friend’s birthday last week, and the invitation said the dress code was all white. Naturally, I got excited – first of all, because I’ve had a certain white blazer for years now that very rarely gets to see the light, second of all, because I like dressing up of course.

I jumped online and purchased this playsuit from ASOS, I don’t remember the exact price but all I know is that it was pretty cheap – it got a lot of complements on the night. It’s a strapless playsuit and is also not tightly fitted, this makes it easy to slip on and off, and is something a bit different for me as I never really wear strapless tops, dresses or playsuits. I paired it up with my Yumi heeled ankle boots, which I am really, really obsessed with.

When I first starting taking photos outside with my friend Andre, we went to the very back streets of Oxford Street, and the picture taking was both low quality and awkward. When we took these photos, we were in the middle of Piccadilly Circus, with people absolutely everywhere, and we actually didn’t really care… that, my friends, is progress.

How was your Christmas?
