My name is Kemi and I’m a blogger from London. I’ve been online for a long time: I self taught myself to code HTML and design websites at age 10, and since then have made a wealth of websites online (with names as cringy as ‘Giggle Palace’) before settling on Skylish. When I was 15 I opened up my own webdesign shop, and for 3 years would design and code websites for others, often fellow bloggers! I decided to branch into beauty blogging when I realised that none of my friends understood my passion for beauty – and over time it developed primarily into a style, lifestyle and travel blog.
My blog Skylish touches on all things fashion, beauty, lifestyle and travel with a weekly dosage of outfit photos and shoppable links to supplement. I’m a writer by nature, having written my first story at the age of 5 (…which became fully fledged novels by age 15), and I work on publishing thought provoking, open and honest posts. When I’m not blogging or working on personal projects, you’ll find me in a suit in Canary Wharf where I work full-time in Investment Banking, or at the gym (I started my health & fitness journey in July 2017). I graduated with a BSc in Accounting & Finance from the LSE.
