I never really know what to write for outfit posts, other than “I’m wearing this top with this because… XYZ”, so I tend to just ramble on about whatever is on my mind. Sometimes it can literally be as random as rambling on about tourist attractions, which you would’ve seen in my last outfit post – this had absolutely nothing to do with what I was wearing. What’s on my mind today is the rise of the success of fellow bloggers, YouTubers and all general forms content creators…
After seeing YouTube’s 2015 ‘Rewind’ video, I had one of those moments where I feel very happy and proud to be a part of this new era of content creators; these days, you see YouTubers, bloggers, and other forms of content creators (be it Vine or social media personalities) everywhere. There are bloggers representing Shwarzkopf, YouTuber’s on the front page of magazines and even creators starting their own brands and labels, it really is a great time to get yourself involved in this world. The best thing about blogging, YouTubing, etc… is that you have the opportunity to build your own brand and personify yourself online; you have a platform to get out what’s on your mind, and at the end of all of that, you get the chance to meet and work with some amazing people and brands. People are always confused when I say I’m going into a job in investment banking when I graduate, but I will always keep this up as a hobby, after all, you never know where things could go.

LASULA BOUTIQUE Jacket
ZARA Boots
ASOS Top
CHERRY DIVA Necklace*
Finally, the outfit. Again, I’m wearing a Cherry Diva necklace, which I’ve genuinely been loving a lot more than I thought I would. I pulled this Asos top out of my wardrobe to wear with it, it’s actually a few years old now, but I always love re-discovering old clothes. I tend to only pair this top with some sort of leggings but it will pretty much match anything, such as a tight skirt or even jeans.
The outfit is quite monochrome, but it can definitely be dressed up with a brighter coloured blazer or coat! Lastly, I paired it with my Zara knee highs, and my Lasula Boutique faux fur collar coat.
I’ve set myself the task of trying to see if I can reach 600 followers on Bloglovin’ by the new year – if you enjoy reading this blog, please support by following on Bloglovin’ here
Have a wonderful weekend guyssss.
