Long time! I’m falling into that dangerous lazy zone where term is coming to an end, work is starting to get neglected, and I just need the Christmas holidays to have a breather, catch up on work, re-charge my batteries and come into the new year and term ready to go again. I’m blogging today about the M&Co SS16 press day and preview that I attended a little while ago; M&Co’s high summer press day had manicures, pastries and good vibes, so there was no way I was going to miss this when I saw the invite pop up in my inbox.
The press day was held in the Rosewood Hotel in Holborn, which is honestly one of the swankiest venues I’ve ever been to, I definitely wondered for a second if I’d accidentally shown up to the wrong place. As a typical student does, I took iPhone notes on the new M&Co line, what I saw and what I liked as I looked around…
M&Co have a wide range of choices for your Spring/Summer wardrobe and a lot of ranges to choose from. There were a few things that stuck out to me whilst having a look around; first of all they have a slightly more ‘upscale’ boutique line, called ‘Fifth Avenue’ that you can expect next year. Fifth Avenue will be a bit more expensive than what they usually offer, but the focus is on higher quality materials and a sleeker finish to the looks you can create when wearing this line.
My favourite line that they will be coming out with was called ‘Tribalesque’, which focuses completely on khaki, safari-inspired looks. It was in this range that they offered a Khaki parka-type jacket which I absolutely loved, and can be seen in the photos below. M&Co has tackled quite a few trends with this SS16 collection – a long with their khaki outfits, and high end boutique range, there was also a nautical feel to a lot of what they’ll be offering out, and of course, never to be forgotten, some really bright swimwear, which I’ll definitely be purchasing!
Definitely check out more of what M&Co have to offer on their website.
Wow great post, looks like a fab collection!
