Last month, I was invited down to the #NextBeauty event, where Next previewed their new beauty line to a packed venue of bloggers near London’s Tottenham Court Road. Their new products have now gone live over on their website here.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t know Next offered out beauty products, as in the past I’ve only shopped at Next for last-minute-interview attire. But along with previewing what they had to offer, we also got to see the products demonstrated on blogger Lydia Elise Millen, to get a better idea of their quality and application, which was definitely a nice addition for those of us completely new to their beauty products. Officially, Next were previewing their new ‘Make Me Beautiful’ collection which of course falls within their beauty range and boasts a host of eye shadows, lipsticks, concealers, chubby sticks, nail polishes and more. One of the best things about these products is how wonderfully priced they are, perfect for students (like myself) that are constantly on a budget to survive.
We were all greeted at the event with some cocktails and canapés. On the top floor of the venue we got to see all of the new products, this top floor was also where Lydia gave two makeup demonstrations (day and night). On the bottom floor we got free manicures and makeovers, and after a bit of hesitation I decided to go with the makeover, I would’ve gotten my nails done too if my they weren’t already freshly did. I’m always very hesitant when it comes to getting my makeup done as I’m quite picky about what I think looks nice on me, but the makeup artist applied just a few products, and my boyfriend complemented my makeup after the event, which can only be a good sign given he is clueless about anything beauty related.
Some weeks after the event, a goody bag with some of their Make Me Beautiful products popped up at my door. Out of these products so far I’ve tried out the eyeliner for my waterline and can definitely attest to it having pretty good lasting power.
Ooooh I love the look of the makeup bags. I’d also love to try out some of those eye brushes – they look incredible! This sounds like an amazing event too

Thank you! I love the colours they have too 🙂
I had no idea they offered beauty products either, it’s good how reasonable priced they are! The event sounds like it was fab as well, I may have to check some of their products out.
