Holiday Date Night

I’m back from my week in Portugal! Expect a full write up all about the Algarve in a few days with photos of all the sights, along with Portugal travel tips. Howeverrr – today I wanted to share an outfit from one of my evenings in Portugal. I was really feeling at least one date night on holiday to dress up, feel girly, and splurge on some good food. Although all these things were probably the least of my boyfriends worries, he complied to make me happy (and get me to shut up about it)…

I spent a lot of the holiday with a backpack on and in shorts, but for this little date night I decided to whack out this white, casual holiday dress that I bought from ASOS last September, and switch up the backpack for a small black handbag from Topshop. My favourite thing about this dress is how effortlessly it’s able to bring shape the the body, without being too tight and showing off the bulges I needed to hide after this mega cheat meal dinner. I paired it with these sandals that I also picked up from ASOS whilst I was supposed to be revising in the library a few weeks ago – these pretty much didn’t leave my feet the whole holiday, they can match with pretty much every outfit. These sunglasses I think I literally ordered off of eBay almost three years ago, I ordered them for my year thirteen girls holiday but chickened out of wearing them as I didn’t feel ‘cool’ enough to rock such massive glasses. I rediscovered them a few weeks ago organising my room at home and wondered how I ever let these gems get buried in rubble. It feels good to be back in London and get some productivity in! However, I only have a few days to endure these grey skies before I’m off again and on my way to Miami for the week! I absolutely cannot wait to get back in the sun and back on the beach yes lawh.
